Hardened Hydrangea

Grandfather Mountain, North Carolina, USA.
The Oakleaf Hyndrangea blossoms have lost their lives for the season, but not their color.  The bush radiates in warmth and delicacy.  The fragile stems hold tight the tissue paper petals not willing to end the mission.

  2. It radiated warmth in a fragile small way. The colour range was so perfect here.

  3. Sometimes life is beautiful even in "death". Just dormant, sleeping, to rise again next year. Beautiful photo!
