Avery, thank you. I have been having withdrawals from posting. This year has started off so hard for me with time, weather, equipment problems and such. I'm ready to get started again, focus of this and make time for it.
This is a tulip I think. I typically work hard at finding out exactly what the flower is... but this time I just didn't. It was taken in low light as a storm blew in. I brightened it a bit but that exposed some grain. Haha- to get around that, and impose artistic liberties I threw a "paint" layer over it. I love how it softens some images, but it doesn't always work.
I wanna hear about your adventures with T1i. I bet you are experiencing a whole new level of shots.
I don't mean to argue with the photographer however it looks like a few of the photos I have taken...crocus! Very, very breathtaking...it is a gorgeous flower! Thank you so much for the beauty of springtime!
This is my near daily photography web log. I got interested in photography in high school and have been taking shots ever since. I am still developing techniques and honing my eye. I tend to gravitate toward macro shots, small subjects and low perspective. Have fun digging through the blog and looking at old posts. You will see that I have worked through different processing, framing and display techniques along the way. It's all in an effort to learn something new. All of these photos were taken with minimal equipment and consumer level cameras. You can do any of this with your camera too. Thanks for stopping by. Leave a comment or ask a question. Let's learn this stuff together.
