28mm f3.3 1/30s ISO400
I found this dragonfly floating in a small creek. As you can see it had a broken wing. It was still alive and struggling to move. I lifted it from the water and placed it in a small bush. Hopefully it dried out and found a way to move on. It was about 6" wingtips across.

Great shot! Did you do something to it's eyes or were they really that green?

those eyes were THAT green. it was bizarre and unnatural looking for sure.
ReplyDeleteI think dragonflies are so amazing looking. I'm fascinated by their wings. hope this one was able to move on after you rescued it.
