This reminds me of a time we were traveling through a town about 4 hours away from home and we saw a huge tree covered with old shoes hanging from the branches. It was quite a site and so of course I took photos. Somehow, I must have erased them, because they were lost. Several years later we were traveling in the same area, and I was excited to find the tree and take more photos. We got there and not only were all the hundreds of shoes gone, but so was the tree! Oh well, photo op lost!!!
hmmm... what would it take to recreate that? First, find a great tree on a slight knoll in a prime pasture in the winter. Second, slip into a hs locker room during a football game and swipe 60 pairs of sneakers. Third.... ah nevermind. My mom would not approve.
This is my near daily photography web log. I got interested in photography in high school and have been taking shots ever since. I am still developing techniques and honing my eye. I tend to gravitate toward macro shots, small subjects and low perspective. Have fun digging through the blog and looking at old posts. You will see that I have worked through different processing, framing and display techniques along the way. It's all in an effort to learn something new. All of these photos were taken with minimal equipment and consumer level cameras. You can do any of this with your camera too. Thanks for stopping by. Leave a comment or ask a question. Let's learn this stuff together.
