palmart (palm art)

50mm (crop 81mm) f1.8 1/125s ISO:100
over saturated? maybe...  to you.  photographs capture what is in front of the lens.  The photographer must see it correctly to capture it correctly.  Exposure, composition, angle, timing, etc. all have a role in capturing the image.  The photographer, the artist, also has ability to manipulate that capture to mold into what he mind's eye sees.  Variations on images provide the ability to please the viewer coming or going.   After all, we don't all like our coffee black... do we?

  3. Dank je Von, Ik ben blij dat mensen kunnen mijn fotografie waarderen. Ik hou van de creatieve expressie en compleet gevoel van voldoening het geeft me. Het is een bonus wanneer anderen kunnen op dezelfde manier voelen. Groeten, Jason.

  7. Not all painting has to be realism, right? So too I think there is room in the art of photography for both left-alone "natural" images that are exactly the product of the moment (or the camera's whims!) and images that are altered deliberately but artistically by the photographer after the fact. As long as the result looks good and/or creates a response in the reader, both of which you accomplish here - no explanations necessary! Good work, J.
