Night Swimming

There are some wild images you can capture when playing in low light. Over-riding some automatic settings on your camera to capture light at night can provide elaborate and brilliant photographs. The fluid movements of "night swimming" stretch and bend with the vibrations of the drive. Maybe it's a visual interpretation of road noise. At any rate, they excite me.

  3. Ray, I'm using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FC18. It is a "bridge" camera that has some functionality of a DLSR and the ease of "point and shoot" cameras. It does have more override control which allows me to manipulate and control settings like aperture, shutter speed and focus zones. Most cameras these days have nice software features available but are oft left unused next the the big green AUTO setting.
