I drive by this tree often... never has it been so formidable. It's strength brings it through the fog to be seen as a pillar of nature. A guide to all those around. Obscure, yes, but no less powerful.
I gotta tell ya in all seriousness your pictures keep getting better and better and better!! I am not sure how many total you have taken but this is my favorite EVER!!! How much would you charge me for an 8 X 10? This has all the mystery and strength and romance and wonder of any picture of have ever seen Jason! WOW I hope you are proud of this one it is brilliant and captures so much and stirs and evokes so much emotion!!! My minds eye can even see a swing on the bottom of the 'ole oak tree thank God for your gift!! Seriously!
Very mystical and yet grounding at the same time. I like this picture a lot. It kind of says to me that if I keep my feet firmly planted I don't need to see exactly what's going on around me.
This is my near daily photography web log. I got interested in photography in high school and have been taking shots ever since. I am still developing techniques and honing my eye. I tend to gravitate toward macro shots, small subjects and low perspective. Have fun digging through the blog and looking at old posts. You will see that I have worked through different processing, framing and display techniques along the way. It's all in an effort to learn something new. All of these photos were taken with minimal equipment and consumer level cameras. You can do any of this with your camera too. Thanks for stopping by. Leave a comment or ask a question. Let's learn this stuff together.
