    Really really cool shot.
    I like it in black & white (even though I don't know what it looks like in color ;) and the composition is great.

    btw- If I'm at the right beach, I like to hunt for sharks teeth. If I'm at the left beach (just a 'little' humor : ) I like to just walk and take pictures.

    I've been out to the "left coast" a few times myself. My brother lives on that side. Downtown Myrtle Beach is the best place to find sharks teeth, right down by 2nd Ave. Some years ago (I think after Hugo) they rebuilt the beach from sands offshore. At that place they didn't go into deep water like the other beaches to get the sand. That disturbed the seabed and turned over sand as they dredged deep into the shelf. Thousands of years of fossils and shark teeth were turned over. They continue to wash up there regularly.

    I am actually going to the ocean with my camera for the first time since I have had my camera the end of June for three whole days I cannot wait. I grew up an hour away from the ocean and an hour away from the mountains so I love both perspectives myself but more centered and comfortable at the ocean. I am a soul sister of the whale, Orca is my kin and I just hang out and let my soul bloom when at the ocean. Can hardly wait to get my camera on the Pacific Ocean. I of course love all things black and white. Beautiful composition. Thank you!

    At the beach I like to either sit and take in the sights and sounds or walk along the water to see what may have washed up on the shore. Either way a camera is there with me.
